Customer Account Specialist - Portfolio / On site - Guadalajara

The role of the Customer Account Specialist encompasses the management of customer relationships, emphasizing the expansion of our existing business portfolio. A secondary priority is the establishment of an individual customer base and the facilitation of sales. Additionally, this position involves contributing insights and support to various internal functional domains such as Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing with the aim of enhancing processes and elevating customer satisfaction levels.

We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into working groups and similar challenging projects for our clients also in the financial sector, both public and private (banks, insurance, etc.).

 

Academic/training requirements:

  • Minimum academic training: BS in Business Management, Marketing, International Trade, or Agriculture
  • Secondary vocational training area: commercial
  • Languages: Spanish & English B2/C1
  • Minimum 2-3 years of performance in a similar role

Specific knowledge required:

  • Prior B2B sales or merchandising experience is preferred.
  • Proven success in selling through a complete portfolio to an existing customer base.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying prospects, converting prospects into leads, and subsequently converting leads into preferred customers.
  • Exhibited experience in establishing rapport with customers and cultivating enduring relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential for effective performance in this role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Responsibilities/tasks to be executed according to the final role:

  • Responsible for attaining the designated commercial targets within the assigned customer base, this role involves selling the complete portfolio of ingredients to existing customers. This is achieved through the cultivation of relationships, leveraging ingredient and market knowledge, and conducting effective contract negotiations. The incumbent is accountable for the precision and punctuality of contract execution, ensuring that customer orders align with contractual agreements.

  • Formulating customer-specific pricing strategies when applicable. In terms of systems management, responsibilities include the establishment of customers and vendors in the ERP system, entry of sales contracts into the ERP system, and meticulous maintenance of accurate CRM system data in both the ERP system and offline databases.

  • The scope extends to customer service, where the focus is on ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. This includes overseeing the timely receipt of required shipments and paperwork, as well as proactively addressing any complaints or claims. The incumbent is also responsible for managing credit limits, ensuring released orders are adequately covered, and collaborating with Accounts Receivable in collections efforts when necessary. The role encompasses various other duties as assigned.
