Java Team Lead

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of developers while driving the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Java, AWS, and microservices, with strong leadership skills to guide the team toward delivering state-of-the-art solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web applications and platforms.
  • Implement microservices in an AWS-based architecture using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Oversee technical designs, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Requirements

Academic/Training

  • Minimum Academic Training: Complete university education, equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
  • Primary Area of Training: Computer Science, Systems, or related Engineering.
  • Secondary Area of Training: Software development, focused on Java and AWS.

Experience

  • 6+ years in software development roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team or Technical Lead.
  • Proven experience designing and developing microservices in AWS-based architectures.

Technical Knowledge

  • Must-have:
    • Java, Spring.
    • Microservice implementations in AWS.
    • Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Selenium.

Job Details

  • Type of Contract: Indefinite.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (GMT-6).
  • Work Modality: Fully remote position, 100% WFH (candidates must reside/travel within LATAM).
