Business Development Manager 

The mission as our Business Development Manager (BDM) would be to identify and pursue growth opportunities for the company, driving its expansion and success in the marketplace. The primary goal of this role is to create and implement strategies that lead to increased revenue, market share, and profitability.

We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into working groups and similar challenging projects for our clients also in the ecommerce, automotive industry, and financial sectors (both public and private; banks, insurance org., etc.).

Academic/training requirements:

  • Minimum academic training: Completed university, or training equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher in a related field.
  • Languages: Spanish & English B2/C1
  • A minimum of 5-years’ experience, and at least 3 years in a similar role within a software provider, SaaS, digital or technical sales environment

Specific knowledge required:

  • Build targeted lists
  • Utilize existing networks and relationships to build new business
  • Work with prospects to identify business challenges through structured discovery conversations
  • Identify any gaps in KPI’s.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in qualifying RFIs/RFPs
  • Presentation of relevant proposals
  • Use of CRM or other solutions to manage the business pipeline and activities.
  • Advanced knowledge of the G Suite

Responsibilities/tasks to be executed according to the final role:

  • Identify and attend relevant industry events that support pipeline creation
  • Generate high-quality first-time appointments per month for your Sales Executive to attend.
  • Set up meetings with potential and current clients at industry meetings/trade shows and generate associated follow up.
  • Contact and follow up with leads generated by other teams
  • Manage database for each lead/prospect the CRM
  • Attend sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in regards to the market place
  • Support direct sales initiative by creating and participating in sales meetings, presentations and the RFP process.
  • Generate revenue in accordance with sales goals set by management.
  • Track and monitor adherence to the client contracting process.
  • Ensure client deliverables for timely submission

Collaboration scheme

  • Type of contract: Direct hiring
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Modality: This is a Hybrid position (3 days WFH), to be eligible the candidates must be residing in Barcelona, Manresa
  • Financial compensation: Negotiable, according to final role
