.Net Senior Developer

We look for a Senior Software Developer who is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a software development project and take over the role as a key member of a software development team who plays an important role in ensuring the quality and success of the software being developed. 

We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into working groups and challenging projects for our clients in the financial sector, both public and private (banks, insurance, similar).

 

Academic/training requirements:

  • Previous experience as Senior Software Developer.
  • Minimum academic training: Complete university, or experience and certifications equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
  • Primary area of professional training: Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related Engineering.
  • Secondary vocational training area: Software development methodologies and best practices, .Net Framework, Azure,  CI/CD
  • Languages: Advanced English (B2 /C1)

 

Technical knowledge:

Required Stack

  • .Net (Framework 4+, Core 2.1+, 6.0), C#, RESTful Apis, Windows Services, SQL Server (2016+)
  • Azure, Terraform, Docker, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Sonarqube, TFS, Git, Powershell, ActiveDirectory, Octopus, Jira
  • Markdown syntax, Mermaid syntax

Desired

  • Experience implementing custom 
  • Search solutions Experience with gRPC and protobuf
  • Professional certifications from Microsoft (e.g. AZ-204 / AZ-304)
  • Chocolatey (desirable)
  • ElasticSearch (desirable)
  • Golang (desirable)

 

Responsabilities

  • Implementation of Data Structures and Algorithms, build cross-platform applications
  • Implementation of solutions with Authorization and Authentication
  • Develop solutions in a distributed microservice architecture
  • Development of new services in .Net 6.0.
  • Migration of current services to .Net Framework 4.8 and .Net 6.0.
  • Migration of code written in Golang to .Net.
  • Maintenance of existing services in .Net.
  • Creation of data migrations to update information in SQL Server
  • Make documentation and/or design diagrams
  • Creation and/or modification of pipelines in TFS and Octopus Deploy
  • Deployment of SSL certificates to the different serversSearch, identification, and correction of errors
  • Clearly write the content of the Jira cards (description, testing and deployment instructions)
  • The developer will also be helping with cloud migration efforts as they are identified, and move more and more applications to the cloud.

Collaboration scheme

  • Type of contract: Direct and for an indefinite period. 
  • Hours: From Monday to Friday, daytime shifts, flexible (EST time)
  • Modality: This is a remote job (WFA), because of hiring purposes/logistics candidates must be in LATAM at the moment of the recruitment and hiring processes. 
  • Financial compensation: Negotiable
