Responsible for maintaining and entering data related to QA processes, assisting in the development and maintenance of product specifications, and providing customer service support.

Training/Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent work experience in food quality, food, or drug industry-related QA experience or training
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Very good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effective administrative and computer skills in MS Office Suite; experience with SharePoint and Axapta a plus

Key activities and general responsibilities
  • Maintain and enter data related to QA processes
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of product specifications
  • Provide customer service support in coordination with logistics and trading groups
  • Review documentation for completeness and interact with suppliers and QA managers to clarify data
  • Organize, file, and review COAs from vendors for all sourced ingredients
  • File and record food quality and safety information for new and potential suppliers
  • Request and maintain up-to-date food safety and quality information (audits, HACCP, etc.) for active suppliers
  • Assist in the management and collection of documents for certifications (organic, Kosher, etc.) of active items
  • Work with QA managers and specialists for prompt resolutions of specific food safety or product quality issues with suppliers
  • Interface with third-party warehouses regarding incoming product inspection, sampling, external laboratory testing, and complaints investigation

Knowledge required
  • Experience in food or other perishable commodities
  • Experience in an import/export environment
  • Knowledge of ERP based systems
  • Exceptional math and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting processes and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • Proficiency with MS Office; Excel high intermediate to advanced level skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to solve challenging problems, prioritize, meet deadlines and work with moderate direction.
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.

Hiring details
  1. Prestaciones superiores a las de Ley (+Vacaciones/Prima vacacional, 30 días Aguinaldo, vales despensa, fondo de ahorro, seguro de gastos médicos mayores, bono anual variable, estacionamiento, PTO days, entre otros).
  2. Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (daylight saving / summer time)
    1. After anniversary, 1 day to be WFH
  3. Indefinite contract after training period
