SAP SD 

Technical Consultant

As a SAP SD consultant your primary role is to implement, configure, and optimize the SAP SD module to support efficient sales and distribution processes within the organization. You would play a crucial role in helping organizations optimize their sales and distribution processes, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall sales performance. They work closely with business stakeholders to understand their unique requirements and tailor SAP SD solutions to meet their specific needs.

We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into working groups and similar challenging projects for our clients also in the financial sector, both public and private (banks, insurance, etc.).

Academic/training requirements:

  • Minimum academic training: Completed university, or training equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
  • Primary area of professional training: Graduate in Computing, Information Technology, Systems, or related Engineering.
  • Secondary vocational training area: SAP, specific training in the solutions/software/module -such as certifications- are preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience with at least 2 full-life cycle implementations.

Specific knowledge required:

  • Understanding business processes and translation into IT architecture
  • Solving complex issues within sales and services processes in SAP CS and/or SD, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA and/or ECC.
  • Functional knowledge about integrations between different applications
  • You were involved in at least two full lifecycle implementations.
  • System aspects as it relates to organizational structure; master data; pricing; order types; integration and execution.

Responsibilities/tasks to be executed according to the final role:

  • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to understand their sales and distribution processes, business needs, and challenges.
  • Configuring and customizing the SAP SD module to align with the organization's sales processes, pricing strategies, and customer master data management.
  • Setting up and managing the end-to-end sales order process, including quotation, sales order creation, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Configuring pricing procedures, discount structures, and tax determination to ensure accurate pricing for products or services based on customer-specific conditions.
  • Creating and maintaining customer master data to support accurate and efficient order processing.
  • Configuring billing processes and invoice generation, including periodic billing, credit memos, and debit memos.
  • Defining delivery processes, shipping points, and routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Implementing credit management functionalities to monitor and control customer credit limits and payment terms.
  • Generating reports and analytics related to sales performance, customer orders, sales volumes, and revenue.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of the SAP SD module with other modules, such as finance (FI), materials management (MM), and production planning (PP), for efficient data flow and business process automation.
